Just got the covers for the Czech Republic editions of my first two Dub Walker thrillers: STRESS FRACTURE and HOT LIGHTS, COLD STEEL. Big difference.

I think the US versions are more on point–but I’m biased. I love both of those covers.

My Polish covers all feature a cartoonish, rather Pink Panther style, black cat, that has nothing to do with the stories. In fact, being a dog person, I rarely even mention cats. Very strange.
At least the Czechs leave your last name alone, Doug. If you’re female, they add -ova.
Signed, Carola Dunnova.

I like that name–sound alike a Russian spy from a James Bond movie.

Good for a Whodunnit, but it was a Regency! Double volume, and the author of the other book was Judith Staffordova, which does not roll trippingly off the tongue.
